Day 155

Per "The Fact Site" Here are some Tuesday fun facts...

Christmas eve is least likely to fall on a Tuesday.

Although interestingly enough, it is the day of the week that has the second-highest chance of having a Christmas on it, with the first being Thursday.

The Greeks consider Tuesday to be an unlucky day as this was the day that Constantinople Fell.

Likewise, Spanish speaking parts of the world also find Tuesday to be an unlucky day.

Tuesday the 29th of October 1929 is one of the world’s most infamous Tuesdays, known as Black Tuesday. This is the day of the Great Stock Market Crash, the event which catalyzed the Great Depression in the run-up to World War II.

Halloween candy has littered the store shelves for weeks. Leaves are starting to fall and my chrysanthemum has buds! These are all signs of the Fall season ahead, but where did summer go? Even though we have over a month more of summer to go, it seems wrong that the season is coming to a close without having experienced any of the typical "summery" events. No concerts, no major vacations, no festivals and no Cubs games - I mean, can we really even call this a summer then?

Hopefully if you've had plans postponed or cancelled you've been able to reschedule or find other ways to celebrate the sun, all be it a lot different than expected. What are some things you've had to change or postpone? What have you done to take advantage of the warm weather? Have you dared to travel, if so where and how?
